Counting down

I'm counting down towards june's much anticipated arrival and our trip up in Sydney! 18 days to be exact before the best day of 2007 i reckon (ok, maybe a lil late for the best day) but hey, it's my bday and that have to be case! :) Can't believe how life and time have actually moved on since graduation. I wake up every morning still trying to adapt to my working life, catching the bus and being miles away from kl and adelaide. Not suprisingly, i still missed adelaide very much, and indeed i'm still a very much adelaide-an deep inside. 3 months have passed since, frens left, memories created, and dreams being chased... a long and winding journey still lies ahead i beckon, but till then , june is what i'm really looking forward to! push my buttons babe...no dirty thinking here i hope :)

remembering 9/11

September - the month of my sis's birthday, the month of mooncake festival (which i have skipped celebrating back in msia for the past 2 years - coming 3rd year when the moon is at its fullest this month! ) and of course the month of the tragic day that had since completely changed the world. It has been six years since the planes struck world trade centre, and yet many still felt the grief and pain as the families of those who perished in the rubbles of the twin towers did. Since it was 9/11, it happened so that i was on metacafe watching many videos about 9/11 and noticed that there's a huge number of videos linked to this event. Some were made in remembrance of the 3000 lives lost, some were made against Bush, some claimed about conspiracy of it. What do you believe? Whatever it is, i realised that we are actually so vulnerable and fragile & that made me cherish and treasure what i had in life than to go complaning what i do not have in life. Cherish life, cherish those you loved...in remembrance of 9/11.

my first blog

My 1st blog in 24 years! I may have started old & slow but heck who cares! Well what a start to an amateur blogger's 1st post. Pretty good i supposed! Hehe. I reckon this blog would provide a fitting platform for me to voice out my daily (if not, at least weekly or monthly!) feelings or thoughts about things happening to and around me. I used to read a lot of other peoples' blog but have never ever thought of starting one on my own but things happened pretty fast and they come and go pretty much with the same pace lately that have inevitably prompted this blog. Changes. I guessed i could use the word - changes to everything that i have lived and got used to for the past 2 years in Australia. Geez. Graduated and moved on. 4 words in short! To those who are still in the dark, i graduated and moved interstate from my beloved adelaide to canberra (the nation's most boring city?!) to take up a job offer. So here i am, fresh out of uni and fresh in the industry, and working my azz off on a 9 to 5 job. It's routined, it's boring. But it seems pretty interesting and challenging to me (at least for now). And feeling much satisfied from a decent opening post, i shall leave the rest of the story for the next few entries (i hoped)... push my buttons.
